What is your professional background and training?
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, which means I hold a master's degree and am completing my clinical hours under the expert supervision of Susan Gonzales, LMFT-S, LPC-S. My training is specifically focused on relationships and trauma, with certifications in powerful models like Relational Life Therapy (RLT), Gottman Method, and Brainspotting to ensure you get the most effective care.
Why did you become a therapist?
My own life experiences with change and disconnection showed me how much we all long to be understood. I became a therapist to help people find their way back to warmth and closeness in their most important relationships.
What is the "Knowing Connection" philosophy?
It's the belief that real healing isn't just about knowing what to do intellectually. It's about experiencing that "felt sense" of truth in your whole body, leading to deeper and more lasting change.
How do you ensure you provide effective, modern therapy?
I am committed to continuous learning and only use evidence-based methods. I engage in ongoing consultation with leading experts in the field to ensure the care I provide is both current and effective.
Are you involved in the New Braunfels community?
Yes, I've built my life and practice here. I also volunteer with local organizations like Hope Hospice because I believe in supporting the overall health and connection of our community.
